Fall Festival: The Fall Festival is this Saturday, October 26th at Payne Elementary School on the playground from 11am-3pm. Please come out and enjoy food, fun and fundraising for Payne’s PTSA. See you there!
Fall Field Day: Fall Field Day is around the corner on October 31st. All students will participate for the majority of the day and should wear their Payne gear or their class color shirts. If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please reach out to Dr. Crumb at brian.crumb@k12.dc.gov.
Nut Free School: Payne is a nut free zone. No food or drinks that contain peanuts or tree nuts or that were packaged or manufactured in a facility that handles nuts are allowed, effective immediately. There are students and teachers at Payne who have severe nut allergies. Skin exposure to nuts or, for those with severe allergies, even exposure to the breath of someone who has consumed nuts, can trigger a reaction. Thank you for your support.
Payne T-Shirts: Interested in purchasing a short or long sleeve Payne t-shirt? If so, you can go to https://www.customink.com/fundraising/paynetshirts just in time for all the field trips and cold weather.
October is Bully Prevention/Breast Cancer Awareness/College Awareness Month: This Friday, October 25th, is a dress down day to represent or support one of the themes for October so your child can wear something Pink or something that represents a college that you went to or they aspire to go. Thanks for your support!
