Winter Holiday Concerts: Please join us to view our student’s wonderful performances. ECE – 2nd grade Holiday Celebration on Tuesday, December 17th at 4:00 and doors open at 3:30pm. Our 3rd – 5th grade performance of Scrooge on Thursday, December 19th at 4:30.
PTA Roller Skating Party: The PTSA has reserved the entire skating rink for a skate night 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 18 at Temple Hill Skate Palace, 3132 Branch Avenue, Temple Hills, Md. Tickets are $10 each, and that includes skate rental. Anyone over the age of 2 requires a ticket. PTSA members will sell tickets outside of the Payne auditorium 8-9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 and 5-6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12. Cash, credit card and check will be accepted.
Winter Holiday Baskets: We will be distributing holiday snack and food baskets on Friday, December 20th at 3:15pm.
EdFest: EdFEST is the District of Columbia’s citywide public school fair. 2019 EdFEST will be held on Saturday, December 14 from 11am – 3pm at the DC Stadium Armory. The event is hosted by My School DC to provide families with an opportunity to learn about their public school options prior to the launch of the SY 2020-2021 lottery application on Monday, December 16. All DCPS and participating charters will be in attendance. Payne is booth 402. Stop by and show your Payne spirit!
School Pictures: Thank you to all who took pictures in November. Your pictures will be ready for pick up by Monday, December 16th, which is just in time for the holidays.
No Afterschool: There will be no afterschool on Friday, December 20th. Please make sure to pick up your students at 3:20pm.
