This Saturday — when the weather will be supercalifragilistic-absolutely gorgeous — will be the first of three Payne Family Days at the National Arboretum.
Visit the Arboretum from 9 a.m. to noon for activities like scavenger hunts, wildlife watching and nature walks. Enter via R Street, off of Bladensburg Road, and there will be a table with materials set up in front of the Arbor House labeled “Payne Elementary.” This is an unstaffed event, and masks are required. Stop by and see some of your Payne friends. Did I mention it’s going to be sunny?
If you can’t make this Saturday, the Arboretum will be hosting two more Payne Family Days on Nov. 14 and Nov. 21, 9 a.m. to noon. Special thanks to Science Teacher Mr. Creef for helping to coordinate.
More details are attached or visit the Arboretum’s website.
